Orbán Anna Mária

textile artist

Studies: Graduate of the Academy of Arts Bucharest – 1996 (graphic & textile departments) Doctor in visual arts – 2007 with the work „Flamish tapestry– aesthetic study on composition and ornamentation” ; Postdoctorate in 2013 with the work „Cultural fingerprints in Fiber Art” published as a research study by the Romanian Academy.

Since 1997 works as PhD lecturer at National University of Arts in Bucharest, textile art & design department.

  • 2026 XIAMEN INTERNATIONAL DESIGN ART WEEK, themed “Harmonious Resonance: Design Shaping a Sustainable Future,” academically supported by the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University Beijing, and jointly organized by the Xiamen Municipal Office for Cultural Industry Development, China National Interior Decoration Association, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Xiamen Radio and Television Group, and the Xiamen Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
